The Fashion Show!!!
Janice Wale’s Fashion show items: Jacket was project for picture this, 75th anniversary and also using up stash. Weave pattern was M&W.
Tea towel was same as jacket M&W, woven on same loom using up stash for warp. Making a cross at each end of warp winding half the number of threads. Tie off both crosses fold warp in half and chain up to both crosses.
Using commercial spun super wash yarn and weak acid dyes. Yarn was pre soaked, I painted on the colours, then placed in mason jar with lid and no extra liquid, placed them in the hot sun for a couple of hours. Then Let cool to room temperature and washed and rinse.

Bring your handmade items for our Fashion show in February!! Anything qualifies, it doesn’t have to be something which would normally be worn. Last year we had rugs, tea towels as well as scarves, shawls and hats.
The Fashion show is always a fun night to get together and see what we’ve all been making over the last year.
