This is a three-evening workshop.

Participant Fee: Members $80, Non-Members $100
Material cost: to Instructor at class – price to be determined
Description: During the workshop, participants will learn how to:
- plan a project (rug or table runner) for size and design,
- assemble and warp a frame loom (warp thread will be provided in class),
- prepare warp and weft materials for rug twining,
- weave using two basic techniques (counter twining and same-pitch twining).
By the end of three classes, participants will have a finished piece.
Participant Requirements: For this workshop, participants will be expected to come prepared to the first session with enough weft material to finish their project. Prep instructions will be emailed two weeks in advance, pending full registration fee received by the guild.
Equipment to bring: Dan has built special looms for this workshop**.
Looms will be available for a $15.00 rental fee (cash payable directly to Dan). Looms may be used and taken home for the duration of the workshop. At the end of the event, looms will be available for purchase at a cost of $60.00 (minus $15.00 rental fee already paid).
**You may bring your own loom but first, please send a picture to Dan.
Workshop is limited to 8 participants, please register early. This class has a minimum number of 4 participants to proceed. If this number is not reached we’ll let you know about a week ahead. You will be refunded your full registration.

***Cancellation Policy: Participants who cancel their registration up to 1 month prior to the start of the workshop will receive a full refund. A participant who finds a replacement for his/her spot within 1 month prior to the start of the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 1 month of workshops (with no replacement found) and “no-shows” will not be refunded. If the Guild cancels a workshop for any reason, all registration fees will be refunded.
