This two hour class will introduce you to the art of Japanese decorative cord weaving. This is a unique way of making round, triangular or square cords that had many uses in Japanese society. You will learn a bit a about the history of this woven artform, learn the basic pattern of a rounded cord and give you next steps for what you can do with these unique one of a kind cords. You will get a material package that includes a Kumihimo disk, some yarns, a handy ziplock and of course some instructions with resources. Come and learn something that you can take anywhere with you! Be sure to bring some scissors to this fun class.

This class has a mininum number of 5 participants to proceed. If this number is not reached we’ll let you know about a week ahead. You will be refunded your full registration.

***Cancellation Policy: Participants who cancel their registration up to 1 month prior to the start of the workshop will receive a full refund. A participant who finds a replacement for his/her spot within 1 month prior to the start of the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 1 month of workshops (with no replacement found) and “no-shows” will not be refunded. If the Guild cancels a workshop for any reason, all registration fees will be refunded.
