You will have an opportunity to spin 100% Alpaca prepared in different formats as well as an Alpaca and Merino blend that is already prepared.
We will cover the properties of Alpaca fibres, do some blending on Handcarders yourself and discuss results.

Time: 10am – 3:00pm
Participant Requirement: Must be able to spin on a spinning wheel or use a spindle.
Equipment to bring:
- Spinning Wheel/Spindle in good working condition.
- Handcarders, if you have them. (There will be extras available)
- Empty Bobbins, Lazy Kate
- Paper and pen if you like to take notes.
Material Cost: $ 20 – and Diny has lots of Alpaca fibre to share!!!!
LDWS workshops are open to all. If a participant is less than 18 years old, they are required to have a parent or guardian present at all times
Workshop is limited to 12 participants, please register early.
This class has a minimum number of 5 participants to proceed. If this number is not reached we’ll let you know about a week before the start of class. You will be refunded your full registration.
