Our annual tradition continues……

Once again this year, members of the LDWS gathered to eat, drink and be merry. So many members attended this month that extra tables and chairs were needed.  The meeting began with the wonderful news of our upcoming move to the new East Community Center sometime in late 2019.

Delicious cakes supplied by Stephanie were devoured with a cup of cider, coffee or tea before Rosemary lead the group in this year’s craft.  Rosemary, with the help of her assistants, lead the group in making a braided wreath.  Happy Holidays to all.

Each year the members of the LDWS partake in Holiday Festivities with cookies and a holiday craft.  This year Rosemary D led the group in making cane reindeer.  A supply list was sent out before the meeting and the guild provided the cane used for the project.  While Lynda K went through the business portion to start the meeting the cane was soaked to make it pliable for use.  With cookies and cider to aid them the members went on to make their own reindeer and in the spirit of the guild, members were helping and encouraging other members in the process.  At the end of the meeting the staff of Boyle were recognized by the guild for all of their hard work and for making us feel so welcome in our temporary location.
