Beginning Overshot on 4 shaft looms

This is a 2 Sunday class

Dates: Sunday November 30 and December 7
Time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Location: East Lions Community Centre – 1731 Churchill Ave, London, ON

Cost: Members – $85 , Non-Members $95
This class is for weavers who have taken Beginning Weaving or have similar experience.

The weaver will be expected to come to the first class with their loom warped with 8/2 cotton. The same 8/2 will be used for the tabby weft. The pattern weft will be 8/4 cotton. Limited colours will be available for $5 payable to instructor, or you can bring your own (contrasting colour to warp)

The threading plan will be provided upon registration. If help is needed, that can be arranged ahead of time. Dorothy looms will be available if needed.

Workshop is limited to 6 participants, please register early. This class has a minimum number of 4 participants to proceed. If this number is not reached we’ll let you know about a week before the start of class. You will be refunded your full registration.

LDWS workshops are open to all. If a participant is less than 18 years old, they are required to have a parent or guardian present at all times

***Cancellation Policy: Participants who cancel their registration up to 1 month prior to the start of the workshop will receive a full refund.  A participant who finds a replacement for his/her spot within 1 month prior to the start of the workshop will receive a full refund.  Cancellations within 1 month of workshops (with no replacement found) and “no-shows” will not be refunded.  If the Guild cancels a workshop for any reason, all registration fees will be refunded.
