Next Step: Spinning Woollen

Next Step: Learn to spin “Woollen” which is Not about wool.

Woollen is a spinning technique which creates very soft yarns from shorter fibres such as cashmere, angora, mohair, quiviet, cotton and even wool. Once mastered, it is a relaxing and fast method of spinning.

You will learn how to make rolags, batts, carded rovings and spin with the “Long Draw” drafting technique. This class includes the woollen method of plying and finishing your yarns. It is suitable for wheel and spindle spinners.
