Introduction to Bobbin Lace – Fall 2026

Description: In this hands-on workshop, explore the basic tools and stitches used to make Torchon lace – a beginners bobbin lace technique. Using commercial threads, create a sample bookmark.

Cost: LDWS Members – $25, Non-Members – $45

Date: Sunday November 29, 2026

Time: 1pm- 3pm

Participant Requirements: no experience necessary

Equipment to bring: all supplies will be provided

Material Cost: $5 to instructor at workshop

Our classes are primarily designed for adult learners. Students under 18 may register and attend if they are mature enough to participate fully, however, they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is over 18 and is also registered for the class.

The workshop is limited to 8 participants, please register early.

This class has a minimum number of 5 participants to proceed. If this number is not reached we’ll let you know about a week before the start of class. You will be refunded your full registration.

***Cancellation Policy: Participants who cancel their registration up to 1 month prior to the start of the workshop will receive a full refund. A participant who finds a replacement for his/her spot within 1 month prior to the start of the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 1 month of workshops (with no replacement found) and “no-shows” will not be refunded. If the Guild cancels a workshop for any reason, all registration fees will be refunded.
